``It's because I'm a law abiding though worthless, long-term unemployed older man who is surplus population. Had I used my college education to rip people off and steal from the elderly, poor, disabled and main street Americans I would be wearing different shoes now -- a petty king. Hard work, honesty, loving kindness, charity and mercy, and becoming unemployed and destitute unable to pay your bills are all considered foolishness and high crimes in America now. Whereas stealing and lying and cheating and being greedy to excess and destroying the fabric of America is rewarded and protected -- even making such people petty king and petty queens among us.''

Yet another unfortunate member of the bottom economic third of this country, who will soon (like most of them) not even be counted as "unemployed", thanks to his self-euthanizing.

In the last 24 months this administration has thrown 3.5 million off the numbers JUST BECAUSE THEY HAD BEEN UNEMPLOYED over 99 weeks...........THAT IS ON TOP OF REAL 25% UNEMPLOYMENT...........

they were sent to the tent cities and suicide by our gubment as the gubment shovel billions into Hamas and middle eastern dictators and oh yes the big union job saves they continue to do..............the rest of you 99ers get kicked to the curb........

but what the media and gubment didn't realize is that over a million a month since MARCH 2010 joined the 99er club, a million a month........

99ers are not shrinking like the gubment hoped - they are growing and growing and growing.............

and they are bashed and kicked and made to disappear........

like germany, hitler had to make people hate the jews before people could ignore that they were missing or being killed, they were ginned up to hate them...........then there was no talk about missing people...........only way to kill millions of people............

ahem what is going on now

THE MEDIA AND GOVERNMENT MAKE FUN OF THE FORECLOSED, they were stupid, right?(not my words) hate the 99ers, they are just lazy, right? (again what the media says)

or better yet what some do here..............call the unemployed in our industry the evil and greedy ones   that is going to bite them on the butt shortly............

so if the gubment and media can gin up hatred for someone who lost their job, then lost their housing, well WHEN THEY DISAPPEAR INTO SUICIDE TENT CITIES, NO ONE WILL CARE, right??? just like is happening in our faces..........

and we were sold that the left cared about the 'smawlll' people...........

as the truth comes out, they care about THE UNIONS and then the UNIONS and then the UNIONS..........and WALL STREET AND BANKS WHEN NOT CARING ABOUT THE UNIONS..............a totally left arena for almost 4 years.......

people like this guy don't matter, communists have NO TIME FOR OLD PEOPLE, read about one thousand books of history on it...........

385,000 people (not counting fired, self employed or employed less than 90 days) just came to the party last week.............AND PEOPLE HERE AND THE MEDIA CROW THAT IT IS GOOD GOOD NEWS.........  :x

and sadly these poor people don't know along with dealing with the horror that they will start to see hate in other people's eyes...........

this is WHY I DON'T DRINK THE KOOL-AID.........horrors are being committed here while some think it is improving and not really bad at all...........cause the gubment says so.........and the media back them up

but this guy ain't getting the press releases that recovery is here, IS HE? Permalink

I guess this is the "stabilization" that some have said is going on ...and is positive mind you. Personally, I do not think so (but as is the case on this web site comments are shouted down)

In other comments the assertion that civil unrest was closer than we think was questioned...Read the tone of this article and by all means please feel free to look at the man behind the curtain. Permalink

Who's shouting you down? You made a comment about the ever-increasing threat of civil unrest in this country, passing it off as proof that there is no stabilization. So what? You want the site to yourself? Is that it? You want to be able to say whatever you want when challenging someone else with baseless claims, but you expect immunity from any challenge of your baseless claims?

And, yeah, I did read the article.

Didn't we just extend the Bush tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans in order to mollify the vanguard of the November Screwnami? You don't hear any mention of that from the screechmonkeys, do you? Man behind the curtain, my a$$. It happened right before our eyes, to the delight of the new ruling party. Victory!! They sure showed us, huh?

And what about this author's on-going medical issues? Didn't we just elect an entire cabal dedicated to reversing any progress made toward universal coverage? And yet, no mention of that from the bat-filled belfries of Tea Party-ville. No sir!! Gotta curb that spending, donchya know? Gotta defend business from job-killing taxes so they can start hiring again. Yep, that sure worked out, didn't it?

And what about those 99'ers? How many times have we been told by the new messianic class that the unemployed are lazy, and any extension of unemployment is just another government-sponsored moral hazard? Where was the outrage when that discussion was taking place? Who was defending the 99'ers then? Who was adding their voice in defense of the working class - non-union, of course (union people don't actually work except when asked to go a-thuggin')? No one here, that's for sure. Until now, that is.....when it's too late to do anything about it.

What a luxury it must be to wait until Team Paleocon finishes its dry humping of the working class before blaming the static mess on the other guys.

We don't get to have it both ways. We are either for something or against that same thing. If we stand in favor of the unemployed, we need to say something when it counts; if we don't support the unemployed, we should not have the luxury of pining on their behalf just for the convenience of blaming the wrong people. No, dear. Taking credit where it's not due is your sole domain. Permalink

if this guy thinks he has problems and pain now, just wait until he gets to hell.

what a hypocrite - thinking he follows all 10 commandments

He should have listened to the Bible, maybe he still has a chance, "READ THE BIBLE", "REPENT" AND "OBEY"

Here's a strategy, blame everything on George W. saw a elected official just this morning on the news referencing GW as the reason for all of today's problems...not an ounce of blame placed on current leadership. Maybe we will utilize the successful blueprint given?

Careful if this blurb gets floated around your leaders will send you to timeout. You are not allowed to be definitive...unless of course it is open to interpretation.

After all this flies right in the face of the current administration's approach. They certainly go both ways  Ask those with the Chamber of Commerce if the talk of last week is being walked this week. Permalink
