NYU Hedge Fund Fraudster Denied Diploma

``U.S. District Judge Peter Dorsey in New Haven, Conn., denied Yalincak’s bid to force New York University to award him a passing grade in biology and algebra, which would have allowed him to graduate. Yalincak, who ran the $4 million fraud out of his NYU dorm room, had claimed that his professors in those classes had promised to give him Bs despite his failure to take a final exam. Yalincak was arrested in 2005 only days before he was set to graduate.''
