Weapons & Movies: The Consequences of Globalization

American elites of both the Right and the New-New Left were proud of this Globalization. The Right saw it as a triumph of capitalism—they had been right after all! The New-New Left saw it as a chance to show voters that they really did believe in capitalism, after the fall of the Berlin Wall had left them intellectually naked.
