(Back-add 2007-09-06) We have learned from sources that Optima Funding (optimafunding.com - website down), an Orange County retail broker, has ceased operations. Per one tipster in mid-August:
Optima Funding is apparently done as of 1-2 weeks ago. - Another Orange County retail shop.
And another:
I hear from a customer they shut down in the middle of working with her. Their website is dead. Their main phone line just rings and rings. They are based out of CA, Santa Ana and San Ramon. ...
... I just talked to my friend that worked there. He said they did shut down ... and there were maybe 100-200 people working there. They laid off most of the people that worked there prior to the official closure.
At this time, we are uncertain about what were Optima's primary products. If you have any details of their operations, please let us know.
