We've been hearing a little bit about this company for a few months now. As one of our readers pointed out, the company's own web site discloses that they are no long accepting applications.
Some information on the company from an Oct. 3 tip:
The Lending Connection in Costa Mesa CA has ceased to accept new applications and all staff have been let go. The phones are answered by automated system and all extensions return to main menu.
170 employees at peak 300 loans per month. Direct lender all subprime and FHA with Countrywide being the largest buyer of loans as Lending Connection did not service loans.
Other than the web site, this information is unconfirmed, so let us know if you have corrections or something to add.
