"On September 7, a New Jersey judge allowed a winning bidder to wriggle out of paying for a foreclosed property because 142 dogs and cats (some alive, some not) were found to be living in the $2.6 million home. The ruling is out of the ordinary, and by some accounts, may set a dangerous precedent for the future. "
