Unfortunately, nonprofits have a double-whammy of problems: they are not structurally suited for rapid expansion, and there just isn't enough government money out there to pay for all the clean-up that is needed. For better or worse, for-profit legal and workout shops will be needed in a big way, and lenders and investors should have to pay to fund most of the recovery.
