An angry post from the angriest housing bubble blog out there, but we have to agree that there is a large kernel of truth here. The REIC has (had?) become a veritable monster, chewing most Americans up and spitting them out, with those benefitting from the bubble (including the political establishment) becoming like junkies needing more and more of the drug to keep the high going. We were as addicted to the housing bubble as we are to oil. Now, the whole country is in withdrawal.
