"Like the stock market, the economy is showing the distortion effects of SpLiT pErSonaLiTy Bubble eCONomIcs. According to state budget officers, revenue is booming in about a dozen states because of benefits from the Bubbles dujour, high energy and agricultural prices. Texas, New Mexico, Montana, West Virginia and Wyoming are among the thriving states. On the other side the shaved coin, the budget picture is increasingly grim in states that had soaring housing prices that collapsed from the Bubble of Christmas past.
