" "As you can see the hedge funds community was struggling since August of ‘07 and finally gave up two years of gains after commodities collapsed this summer. This chart is very ugly, if it was a stock I would say it should struggle for at least another year. Hedge funds are supposed to be market neutral, aren’t they? Carefully selected long and short positions must slowly drift in the right direction."
