Or not, considering that the Fed and Treasury have now extended an implicit guarantee to ALL major financial institutions. They will not allow another Lehman. (It’s been said that perhaps the best trade is in the debt of the large financial companies. Since the government won’t let any more of them blow up, you might as well buy the companies’ bonds whenever they can be had at a tidy discount.)"
