A Maitland firm under investigation for mortgage fraud by the Florida Attorney General’s Office has agreed to close and pay $25,000 in restitution and fees.
Maitland-based Homestead Protection Services LLC, also known as US Homestead Protection Services LLC, agreed to dissolve as a corporation and refrain from future violations of the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act, the Attorney General’s office said in an April 3 announcement.
