Homeowners brought a federal racketeering lawsuit on Thursday against KB Home (KBH.N: Quote, Profile, Research), the former Countrywide Financial Corp and appraiser LandSafe Inc, accusing the companies of operating a scheme to fraudulently inflate sales prices of KB homes in Arizona and Nevada.

It will be interesting to see this play out. If the government (the courts) continues to whitewash & deny justice to individual homeowners the consequences to government in general will be severe. This action will prove or disprove that government takes it's orders from the financial sector. If the public doesn't like the results almost anything could happen politically.
