They are gambling contracts & inherently illegal. Actually oil is the key to the whole world's future not gold. EVERYTHING yummy about our modern, comfortable world depends on oil & we are at or just past it's peak. This is a view from the top folks. Enjoy it while you can because it's a long way down from here. As things go downhill & the real fights over oil begin it will probably be good to own gold to buy oil with.
