"Washington and Wall Street seem to be treating California as if it were a sideshow in the financial circus of these turbulent times. It’s not. California is home to the largest manufacturing belt in the United States and to Silicon Valley, the nation’s largest high-tech center. California is America’s most populous state with 38 million people. Its GDP of $1.8 trillion is the largest in the U.S. Its economy is bigger than those of Russia, Brazil, Canada, or India. And it’s collapsing."

in Florida our schools are bankrupt and our healthcare is bankrupt and every political official and parent wrings their hands as they stiff their kids with music and sports and cut back on healthcare AND NOT ONCE MENTION THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM - ILLEGALS WHO SOAK UP ALL THE FREEBIES...............

and make no mistake I AM NOT TALKING LEGAL IMMIGRATION HERE.............THEY ARE ON THE BOOKS AND ARE RAPED AND PILLAGED JUST LIKE OTHER AMERICANS ARE -

Listen to Catherine. America has one of the most liberal immigration policies of any nation. We allow more immigrants per year NOW than at the height of the Ellis Island era. The argument that nobody wants the jobs that illegals take is BUNK. There is a depression on. Americans do need those jobs. The only reason they are not attractive in good times is the illegals drive the pay down so low. Mexican criminal gangs are heavily into human smuggling. Their accomplices are rich Americans who would throw away the country to save a few bucks on hired help. Wrapping illegals in our flag is ludicrous on it's face. Illegal immigration is not up there with Mom & Apple Pie. The welfare costs are only the tip of the iceberg. Permalink
