It proves that this thing has a life of it's own, due to the special interests feeding it with kickbacks to the politicians of both parties. Now instead of 'one person, one vote' it's 'one dollar, one vote.' The root of the problem is lobbyists & their tainted money. The only way to return control of government to the people is to cut the money off. Don't look to government to willingly reform itself; perhaps it can't be done. This soft machine, this combination of big money interests & willing politicians now rules the country. People be dammed.
