Perhaps that's why Spitzer's straying was made into such a big deal. A standard Republican tactic these days. If you can't claim the moral high ground (at least with the true believers) dig up some dirt & claim the supposed high ground thru character a$$a$$ination. Worked real well with Clinton didn't it. If this keeps up all public figures will have to be candidates for sainthood as well as public office. Pretty nasty when you lay it out like this isn't it? Regardless of your political persuasion you should be quite wary of these tactics, winning by any means however foul diminishes our way of life & our honor as a people. Permalink
