" One year after American International Group (AIG) executives promised to repay millions in so-called retention bonus money in an effort to stem public outrage, less than half of the money has actually found its way back. According to a report from the government's bailout watchdog, only $19 million of a promised $45 million was repaid. The rest has likely vanished along with many of the employees who received the money last year.
