``AIG disclosed the names of the counterparties, which included Deutsche Bank AG and Merrill Lynch & Co., on March 15. The disclosure said AIG made more than $27 billion in payments without identifying the securities tied to the swaps or listing the value of individual purchases by each bank, details the Fed wanted to keep out, according to the March 12 e-mail from AIG’s Shannon. So if I'm reading this correctly: The Fed (a private non-government corporation) loaned money to the US Taxpayers (you and me) to buy bad loans from banks to keep our financial system from collapsing and pushing the country into a full scale Depression. Secretly the Fed told AIG to use the money to buy (at 100% of declared value) non-loan, synthetic CDO's (made-up contracts used by investors to gamble on debt owned by somebody else). Then the Fed's attorneys encouraged (strong-armed) AIG into delaying disclosure until long after the funds had been transferred.

It appears to me that the deceptive use of the loan funds voided any prior agreement, to pay, between the Fed and the US Taxpayers. We didn't agree to those terms. LET THE FED EAT THE MONEY THEY HANDED OVER TO THEIR BUDDIES.

Looks like little Timmy was a very bad boy. Do you think at some point the people will decide that the so called cure is worse than the disease? Lt Calley logic here; In order to save the village we had to destroy it. It doesn't matter that these rich insiders thought they were saving the country (they didn't). Calley thought he was doing the right thing too. There must be some other way to control the country's currency; The FED is obsolete, corrupt & ineffective. Whenever this is pointed out they resort to scare tactics & claims to special skill & knowledge. Permalink

So sad. What a beautiful country America used to be. You would work hard, be honest and reap the rewards years later.

Now, being a thief seems to be the norm in government of privately. You are a geek unless you are a stripper or porno "actress/or", or a swindler of some kind. Banks do whatever they want with people because they USED to have money, etc, etc, etc...

I just wish the USA would be decent and honorable and simply file for BK so we can start clean without having to continue to lie and keep the Ponzi scheme and stop being the laughter of the world.

So sad... Permalink
