Now it is illegal to grow soybeans in this country without buying your seeds from Monsanto. Soybeans are one of our most important crops. Monsanto owns the genetic patent on Roundup resistant genes. Even if you attempt to grow non resistant soybeans your neighbor's beans will 'contaminate' your crop & Monsanto unleashes it's lawyer-dogs on you & puts you out of business. Many of Monsanto's tactics are patently anti-American & unconstitutional but the courts seem to be putting Monsanto ahead of the constitution. Honest farmers who just don't want Monsanto's product are terrorized & driven to the wall. You need to look beyond simplistic neo laisse-faire approaches. I wonder who Obama's handlers are? Permalink
