On one hand, between 20% to 26% of homebuyers have used a loan insured by the Federal Housing Administration every month since October 2008. Most folks here using FHA are putting down the minimum 3.5% (that’s according to past figures from DataQuick, and I doubt the trend has changed). And on the other extreme, DataQuick says folks buying a home in the county with all cash, meaning no loan was recorded around the time of the sale, has hovered around 20% since January 2009.
