Testwell Laboratories Inc. and its chief executive officer were found guilty on some charges of faking safety tests on concrete on New York buildings including the Freedom Tower and the new Yankee Stadium.
In a partial verdict yesterday by a New York jury, Testwell and CEO V. Reddy Kancharla were found guilty of 29 counts and related charges of filing false documents with the city and faking business records, the Manhattan District Attorney’s office said.
