Housing director on hot seat over town-owned SUV use

"The tenants and Housing Authority Chairman William Fischer used an informational meeting with officials of the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority to raise concerns about Executive Director Stephen Nere’s vehicle. Use of the vehicle comes as part of Nere’s contract with the agency, but Fischer said he believes that Nere should only be using the vehicle while he is on the job in Wallingford, and should not be allowed to take it to his home in Guilford when his work day ends."
