I’m Surprised! WSJ’s Nick Timiraos Gets It Backwards On Agency Debt Guarantee" (25 Mar '10). The Wall Street Journal article I link to there lists the key Q&A between Rep. Scott Garrett and Sec. Geithner at Rep. Barney Frank's March 23rd hearing on the future of US housing finance.
Today's report links to Garrett's March 23rd letter expanding on his questioning, and refers to Geithner's written response, which appears to merely repeat what he said orally on 3/23.
