catherine at 10:14 2010-06-07 said:once you have no job you have no house, that is the sad rules of the game. these unemployment numbers are going to double and triple with the oilspill and they will stay this high for years and years. how long can you pay to keep people in homes they can't afford? this depression was caused by people buying houses on margin, the first depression was caused by people buying stock on margin................can you just imagine the madness if the government had tried to make all those stockholders whole in the 30s? this is incompetence at its highest degree.......the deleverage has to happen or we never, ever come out of this.
