"Prices of single-family homes held steady in Cleveland and rose slightly across the country from June to July, according to a much-watched index released this morning. Recent house-price increases appear to be abating, a sign of a slowdown in the housing market, which was propped up by incentives in 2009 and the first half of 2010."
