The Chinese government walks a tightrope as it must give workers more rights to prevent a revolution, but not too many so as to self-destruct the centralized power structure. It will be interesting to see if they can "hold it together". However, they do have economic "tailwinds" going in their favor (there is plenty of loot to hand out... but this is difficult to do quickly, since most of it is tied up in dollars).
