"Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae will not perform evictions between December 20th and January 3rd. Other important lenders like Bank of America will also delay eviction proceedings until after the holidays as it has done in prior years. The bank notes that investor owned homes require the agreement of the owners to delay evictions. Foreclosures of unoccupied homes will continue during the holiday season. Regardless of the delay of a foreclosure, borrowers are obligated to make all delinquent payments."
