catherine at 04:33 2011-01-29 said:right on right on, WROTE ABOUT this at least two years ago...........as the 'experts' kept saying that the housing market would turn around with demand, I have said the BORROWERS ARE GONE FOR QUITE AWHILE.......... the combined households are now tripling from 2years ago........this is why 1 million foreclosures last year don't have people standing in the streets they are moving in with their elderly parents, more than one sibling and their families, friends, etc., and every year we stay on this downward path more people leave the market for quite awhile............REMEMBER THEY HAVE NO JOBS............... and 39% of the mortgagers borrowers were baby boomers and gen xers - they are the ones bearing the brunt of this mess, they won't get in the market again............. the illegals are going to be made to go home and that leaves a whole other market gone and if they are underground they won't buy. 10 years minimum.........
