I can think of one thing that is at least equally insulting ... how about the people that bought more house then they could afford, stop making payments a year or two ago and are living in those houses now rent free - and now have tons of discretionary income to spend 'cause their housing costs went to zero? that is pretty darn insulting to those of us that who were prudent, bought houses that we could afford and are not trying to stick the banks or taxpayers with any of our bills.
