"Bank of America, Citibank, JPMorgan Chase Bank and Wells Fargo all got the green light to move forward with uncontested foreclosures from Superior Court Judge Mary Jacobson, sitting in Trenton. Uncontested foreclosures, in which the homeowner does not fight the lender's effort to take back the property, make up more than 90 percent of the cases in the state." Interesting... the title on this was spiked to "BofA, Other Banks Can Resume Servicing of New Jersey Mortgages, Court Says" after we picked up the story. Rather odd when you consider that the original title was more accurate (the banks never stopped "servicing" the mortgages), yet of course less flattering to the banks. source article | permalink | discuss | subscribe by: | RSS | email Comments: Be the first to add a comment add a comment | go to forum thread Note: Comments may take a few minutes to show up on this page.
