``RealtyTrac has released its Q2 2011 U.S. Foreclosure Sales Report, which shows that sales of homes that were in some stage of foreclosure or in some form of real estate-owned (REO) state accounted for 31 percent of all U.S. residential sales in the second quarter of 2011, down from nearly 36 percent of all sales in the first quarter but up from 24 percent of all sales in the second quarter of 2010.''
