FHA Says LPS Foreclosure Data in April was Not Accurate - American Banker Article

The Federal Housing Administration says April foreclosure statistics from Lender Processing Services were inaccurate.

The housing agency and LPS both said Thursday they are working together to identify the data discrepancy.

In May, LPS released a report that showed FHA foreclosure starts had jumped 73% in April, to 63,129, from 36,311 in March.
