It is becoming more like the American Dream is about building up too big to fail banks and scoring major paydays even if the institution is an overall negative for the economy. Pension plans are massively underfunded thanks to assumptions built on 7 percent annual gains (the stock market is back to where it was in 1999 even after the massive rally). So what does the new American Dream look like?
