It is interesting to note that in 2010 we had 81 people making more than $50 million per year (down from 151 in 2007). It'll be useful to see the new data once it is released to align with the stock market rally. It is also important to note that 25% of the country lives in households where income is less than $25,000. A good explanation why 46.5 million Americans are still on food stamps.
