The FTC sued a Dominican Republic telemarketing firm providing Spanish language mortgage assistance relief for ripping American homeowners out of close to $2.39 million over a three year period but suspended the judgment due to the company's inability to pay. The FTC settled for the $17,337 the company had in the bank.
