Stossel only partially hits the mark with this one... the real waste is in the government budget (both how it is allocated and the amount in particular areas); the "opulence" of the buildings and homes barely hold a candle to that (we estimate 50-75% waste in the sum total of federal spending -- not the budget, but spending).
