Blair Witch Sentenced To Two Years in Prison For $2.4 Million Mortgage Fraud Scheme

The Mastermind behind a $2.4 Million mortgage fraud scheme, Florida Mortgage Loan Officer, Brenda Ann Blair, was sentenced today to 27 months in prison, followed by five years of supervised release for participating in a $2.4 Million mortgage fraud scheme that obtained approximately $2.4 million worth of mortgage loans from federally backed financial institutions. Blair's victims referred to her as the Blair Witch in reference to the 1999 horror movie, "The Blair Witch Project".
