Some revealing data shows that male earnings have been crushed since the early 1970s. Since shifts in demographics are thrown in and a declining workforce, the grim employment figures do not show up. We have the per capita average income of $25,000 yet this does not tell the entire story. If we look at working men data, we find that earnings from 1969 to 2009 have fallen by 28 percent in 2009 dollars
