"The Obama Administration has announced additional details about its Aug. 17 Conference on the Future of Housing Finance, including a list of panelists and the conference agenda. This event will provide a forum for public input as the Administration continues its work developing a comprehensive housing finance reform proposal for delivery to Congress by January 2011. The event will take place from 9:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m. at the Cash Room of the U.S. Treasury Department, located at 1500 Pennsylvania Ave., NW in Washington, D.C. "

Greetings and “Hope†Everyone. As a mortgage lender still living in Southern California, I must not be very smart… but my Momma was very smart. What I don’t understand is how Mr. Obama and Mr. Bite-me keep telling us everyone is doing better? How much “better†can we afford if everyone is losing their jobs and homes? Can somebody please explain what their definition of “Better†is? Somehow it just doesn’t seem “better for them†and their family is better for anybody else? But it is nice to see Obama’s smiling kids taking trips and having fun. Fun aside, is anyone else having fun yet? How is it that more taxes, and more fees, and more legislation equals to anything “Mo Better†for anyone but those stuffing their pockets with our money? No wonder the Obama’s are having fun; we are paying their bills! How much more fun can we afford? My pockets are empty! It is a good thing though that, that nice lady Michelle Obama is now proud of America. She seemed so angry before her husband got elected; but now she is proud. I don’t think we can afford to make her much prouder, perhaps we would be better off if she was still at least a little upset. Maybe a whole lot! I think we would all be proud to travel around the world in “Air-Force 2†with lots of our friends spreading her message of Hope! No wonder she is proud! Why is it only Michelle and her friends get to be happy and proud? Does anyone honestly believe that Obama’s Aug. 17th Conference is going to do anything but do more to benefit all of the administration’s banking buddies? Perhaps we could have a “Mortgage Amnesty,†or just give everyone free houses… now that would be a stimulus package! Free Mud Huts for everyone! HEY; not only could it happen… it’s happening! Could Momma be right; Obama’s “Hope†is like our brains on Dope? Let’s hope we are not all too addicted!
