On Aug. 17, the Treasury Department held a "conference" on the future of housing finance. Just a mere two years after the seismic fall, It comes after Healthcare and Fin-Reg. Priorities, huh? So, Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner and Shaun Donovan of Housing and Urban Development held court with a dozen pre-selected panelists. Not much really new came out of this confab except for the call by one to nationalize the industry and another to let the divine being sort things out (sort of). source article | permalink | discuss | subscribe by: | RSS | email Comments:
Ed Wright at 04:31 2010-08-23 said:Greetings Everyone… As a Mortgage Broker/Mortgage Banker it is getting a little bit tiring hearing about all of the supposed “Predatory Lenders†who have created this Mortgage Market meltdown. Unfortunately an un-truth told often enough tends to become excepted fact with the under-educated masses that believe everything their union or political party wants to tell them. When it comes to this Mortgage Market meltdown however, it is easy to trace the origins of the problems that gave birth to the problem our economy is in today… The biggest problem is that those same influences are at work re-writing our supposed “Bail-Out†in such a manner as to facilitate the same problems that have created the ones we see today. It is my personal opinion that if they succeed in rewriting our banking laws as they are working on it, today’s meltdown will give birth to an ongoing disaster our economy cannot survive. Understanding the problem is the first step to finding the solution. The attached link is for one of the best written “YouTube†videos I have personally seen on the subject… and one much of the press has tried to discredit; the problem is that it tells the truth! If you do not believe the facts and details given… simply “Google Them!†Everyone; Republican, Democrat, Village Idiot to Financial Geniuses needs to watch this video and understand what has gone wrong so it will not happen again. Click on the below link to view the video. Please feel free to slow the video down by hitting the pause button to read the details given… after viewing the video PASS IT ON. Rebuilding our economy depends on understanding the hogwash many of our politicians are trying to feed us. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1RZVw3no2A4&feature=iv&annotation_id=event_597487 Permalinkadd a comment | go to forum thread Note: Comments may take a few minutes to show up on this page.
