Neugebauer: Feds need to get out of housing market

West Texas Rep. Randy Neugebauer said letting the housing market bottom out and then start coming back will help remedy the budget woes of states and local governments.

But the markets won't come back as long as there's a huge inventory of housing no one knows what to do with, Neugebauer said this week in Washington at a conference on housing finance reform.
