The creator of this video has many great insights on the "true motive" for the Chinese encouragement for their public to accumulate gold and silver. The Chinese government can only officially accumulate so much (and even what they have gotten, they've had to try to do under the table as much as process)... having the public openly buy for private use is so much easier.

We're sure the Chinese are closely watching the gold dinar experience (which reportedly has become extremely popular) , and have taken note of Hugo Salinas Price's proposal to "co-monetize" silver in Mexico.

Both seek to bolster the savings of the people and instill confidence in the economy and currency by providing some official monetary recognition of, and encouragement for, gold and/or silver.
